Members can tap into a range of services, support and strategic partnerships with training providers to help bridge the skills gap and boost employee retention.

This includes:

  • Addressing skills gaps through technical and non-technical training courses, tailored apprenticeship programmes and support in utilising Apprenticeship Levy funds effectively
  • Access to a Level 6 Tool Process Design Engineer Apprenticeship, which has been created by CBM’s trailblazer group in collaboration with the Institute of Apprenticeships and Technical Education

This has been designed to address a critical issue in the metalforming sector and recognises the unique and specialist skills required for this technical role.

Now open for enrolment, it seeks to engage with Level 3 workers to upskill them to toolmaking and tool design.

Representing over 200 companies across a dynamic, innovative and economically critical industry.
