CBM held its first Fastener Manufacturing Technology & Services Mini-Expo on 16th October at the National Metalforming Centre and the feedback received from participants has been consistently positive.
Exhibitors and visitors particularly liked the fact the event was tightly focused on the fastener manufacturing sector. One visitor commented: “it really had a family feel about it. Everyone in the room is specialised in the sector”. Stefan Szczurek, European Director for The Phillips Screw Company echoed the sentiment. “A good day with the opportunity to network with other exhibitors and to meet potential new clients”.
There was also widespread support for the deliberately time-efficient event, opening at 10am and running through to 4pm, and the choice of the National Metalforming Centre as venue. Stuart Gregory, MD at Petrofer UK, said: “As always it is excellent, we thought it quite ‘intimate’ and easy going”.
