HMRC  has issued the following Stop Press Notices on Steel Safeguarding Quotas for the current quarter (1st October to 31 December 2021): Quota No. 058002 – steel category 1 – Non Alloy and Other Alloy Hot Rolled Sheets and Strips, other countries, has now exhausted from 04.10.21

Quota No. 058916 – steel category 21 – Hollow sections, Turkey, is Critical from 04.10.21- A security to the value of the 25% safeguard duty will need to be provided against the critical quota claims, for customs clearance to free circulation up to 31.12.2021.
